This is a watercolor I did yesterday of our Vashon Island garden. It was finally sunny and warm enough to sit outside and paint, YAY! Our garden has beds full of all kinds of flowers, annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees, all of which are waking up to another summer of growth and renewal! The birds were singing loudly, the hummingbirds were buzzing, even the butterflies were a flutter! I just love this time of year when all is new again.Vashon Garden watercolor on Fabriano paper, 9"x 12"
